“Our mission is to represent and serve the whole village, whether you come to church or not.
Regular Sunday Services take place every week at 11am, with refreshments served beforehand from 10.30am. We embrace different styles of service to suit a diversity of preferences: The 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month are shorter and less formal (Cafe Church and Family Service). On the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays there is a traditional Communion Service with music led by our choir. We pray that we encounter God’s love, joy and peace at every service.
All villagers are welcome to explore a christening, wedding, or funeral in the church (or to have the vicar take a service at the Crematorium). Remember, you don’t have to be churchgoer to mark these significant life events.
There are plenty of ways to get involved during the week; singing in our choir; learning to ring the bells; studying the Bible and praying in Home Groups; arranging flowers; helping to care for the building; and baking refreshments. There are plenty of social events organised by our sister charity The Friends of St Marys.
Please get in touch with the Vicar if you’re interested in exploring any of the above.”
