We are an established nursery, open since 2009, and rated OFSTED Outstanding in both 2015 and 2020, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can play, learn and develop as individuals.

We care for children from 3 months to 5 years old and we are open 51 weeks a year from 8am to 6pm (excluding bank holidays and Christmas to New Year period). Emergency childcare may be available (subject to availability and 24 hour notice). Please call or email to enquire.

We offer a homely approach where children feel safe, loved and welcome in well maintained and well-resourced nursery rooms run by qualified staff. We are located on the Long Crendon School in our own set of secure nursery buildings with a large Astro-turfed outdoor play area. We have separate rooms for Babies (3 – 18 months), Toddlers (18 months – 3 years) and Preschool (3 years plus).

Parental parking is on the road. Site access is gated and secure.

Our pricing is simple and convenient with nappies, wipes and meals all included. Homecooked nutritious and balanced meals are prepared freshly each day, including a morning snack, cooked lunch and afternoon tea. We provide all the government funded hours for when your child turns three years old.

Tiny Acorns has an experienced and visible management team, available to speak with you whenever you need us and providing a variety of communications to suit parents needs/ preferences.

We provide a fun and varied learning environment for the children that delivers the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum through play in the following areas:

• Role play, Stories, Mark making, Physical development, Communication, Language and Literacy skills, Numeracy skills, Construction,  Sensory play including water, sand and dough play, Creative activities including Painting, Modelling and Collage, Cooking, Dance and singing, Knowledge and understanding of the world
• We have a Summer Forest School and bi-weekly Rugby Tots sessions included for the older children.
